Origami Theatre
A woman in black, with a small suitcase, moves through the audience. Someone
approaches her, they both sit down. Then the full fact of this appearance
becomes clear. The suitcase is a mini-theatre, it becomes quiet, soft music,
the theatre on her lap, the show begins. The actors are two hands. The story
without words is played to the rhythm of the music. It‘s like a dance.
A piece of paper, still blank, comes on stage… and is “in a trice“
being changed into a “living“ character. The tiny piece of art goes
from hand to hand. From the theatre to the guest. End of show. This theatre
plays everywhere, except on stage. It is a stage.
The shows take 3 to 4 minutes. The total programme can last from 3 minutes
to half a day and vary with the theme. Suitable for 10 up to 1000 people of
all ages.
